At bath time Zakary slipped and bit the outside of his bottom lip (just under his lip) Not sure if he was going to need stitches so we went to the Emergency Room. Turned out Zakary didn't need stitches - he was just fine; and the next day you could barely see his 'boo-boo'.

Bag of Tricks

Last weekend (March 19th) Lolo, Lola, & Tracey came to visit. Lolo showed Zakary the "I don't know" - shrug of shoulders and Zakary copied Lolo. This is Zakary's "I don't know.." shrug.
Lolo also showed Zakary how to count his fingers, so now Zakary will do the shrug, then count his fingers - showing you all the 'things' he knows.

Kids play area at Portland Airport. Zakary had so much fun - he was walking and checking out all the play stations. He rode on the 'moving walkway' he just stood there staring at the walkway, then smiled at people that went by. Zakary walked up a storm today!

We took Zakary to the Science Playground at OMSI - his first time in a 'play area' - he picked up the first thing he saw - a fake rock, then moved on the the stuffed porcupine.
Zakary loved walking around, picking things up, and walking... walking. This was the first time he was in a play tunnel. It took a little time before he went through it; he saw an older kid go through the tunnel and he laughed - then went through himself.
Zakary liked playing in the pool of balls.

First Time in a Hotel

We when to Portland, Oregon and stayed at The Hotel deLuxe - Zakary's first time staying at a hotel. Boy did he find things to play with! The hotel was nice, everyone was friendly, helpful, and was in downtown Portland.
